Other Climate Prayer Initiatives & Action Networks

“We’re a movement of Christians praying and fasting on the 1st of each month for climate justice.” (UK, Australia, Canada, Europe and the US)

Climate Prayer
“Love God, love your neighbour - so pray”
Climate Prayer is an online prayer platform on both Twitter and Facebook.

“The Climate Sunday initiative is calling on all local churches across Great Britain & Ireland to hold a climate-focused service on any Sunday before COP26 (November 2021).”

In 2019 A Rocha France launched an initiative to help Christians to pray for the creation. If you pray, we invite you to discover more about the project below and join with us in this collective prayer.

We structure the prayers on a weekly pattern:

  • Sunday: prayer for creation and the work of A Rocha

  • Monday: prayer for those in authority

  • Tuesday: prayer about climate change

  • Wednesday: prayer for a project / an environmental organisation / a grass-roots initiative

  • Thursday: prayer for a species / an ecosystem that is in danger

  • Friday: prayer of repentance and for transformation of our lives

  • Saturday: prayer of thanksgiving
